Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders: CES Engages with St. Paul Nkwen Students on Youth Peace and Security, Drug Addiction, and Substance Abuse

On the 22nd of March, 2023, Cornerstone Enrichment Services (CES) had the privilege of conducting an enlightening session with the students of St. Paul Nkwen, Bamenda, in the NW Region. The session delved into crucial topics surrounding Youth Peace and Security, as well as the pressing issues of Drug Addiction and Substance Abuse.

In an effort to empower the youth with knowledge and tools for a brighter future, CES organized this impactful session at Mile 3 Nkwen. The discussions aimed not only to raise awareness but also to provide practical insights into navigating the challenges that young individuals often face in today’s complex world. The Youth Peace and Security segment emphasized the role of the younger generation in building and maintaining peaceful communities. Interactive discussions and activities allowed the students to explore their potential as agents of positive change, fostering a sense of responsibility and unity.

Addressing the critical issue of Drug Addiction and Substance Abuse, CES brought forth experts who shared valuable information on recognizing the signs, understanding the consequences, and seeking help. The goal was to equip the students with the awareness and resilience needed to make informed decisions for their well-being.

Nche Lot, CEO of Cornerstone Enrichment Services, expressed the organization’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders. “Our session with the students of St. Paul Nkwen is part of our ongoing efforts to empower youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the challenges they may encounter.
